Biography

Kay Ivey has served as Governor of Alabama since 2017, first assuming office when Robert Bentley resigned. She was elected to a full term in 2018 and re-elected in 2022. Prior to becoming governor, she served two terms as Alabama State Treasurer and one term as Lieutenant Governor.
